Eligibility For GST Registration
✔ Turnover in a financial year is greater than Rs.40 lakhs. [Limit is Rs 20 lakhs for some special category states]
✔ The person engaged in the inter-state taxable supply of goods or services or both
✔ Agents or any other person who makes supply on behalf of other registered taxable persons
✔ A non-resident taxable person engaged in providing taxable supply
✔Input Service Distributor
✔ E-commerce operator
✔ 6. Persons who supplies (except branded services) via an e-commerce operator
✔ Persons liable to pay tax under reverse charge mechanism.
Process for GST Registration
Step 1:Login to the Government Portal i.e. gst.gov.in and search for Registration Tab on the left-hand side middle of the page. Fill the required details like PAN no., Mobile No., E-mail ID and State in Part-A of Form known as GST REG-01
Step 2: Verify your Mobile and E-mail via OTP verification after which you will receive a temporary reference number (TRN No.). Login into the portal using TRN no. and fill/upload the required details/documents in Part-B of Form GST REG-01 and submit it by signing via DSC or EVC depending on type of GST Registration
Step 3: Complete the KYC process using AADHAR AUTHENTICATION of Authorized Signatories. After completion of KYC process an acknowledgment no known as ARN No. will be generated in Form GST REG-02
Step 4: In case of any clarification required relating to information submitted in form GST REG-02 a clarification notice will be issued in Form GST REG-03 by the department. Documents or information asked by the department shall be submitted within 7 working days in Form GST REG-04
Step 5: In case the officer is not satisfied with the clarification filed he may reject your application and the information regarding same will be conveyed to you via Form GST REG-05. After proper verification if the Officer is satisfied, he will approve the application and issue GSTIN No. in Form GST REG-04.

PAN card - Company plus Owner/All Directors/Partners
Aadhar Card- Owner/ All Directors/Partners
Passport size Photograph- Owner /All Directors/ Partners
Proof Of Constitution- Certificate of Incorporation(In case of LLP/Co)
Principal place of business ownership proof (Any one):
Electricity Bill
Legal ownership document
Municipal Khata Copy
Property Tax Receipt
Additional requirement for rented premises:
(Along with any ownership proof)
Rent/Lease agreement
NOC/Consent letter* in case of no/Expired Rent agreement
Additional Docs in case of LLP/Company
Letter of Authorisation*
Copy of Resolution passed by BoD and Acceptance letter*
Digital Signature of any one of the Director/Partner
