In this email you will find the details about this project and everything you need to get started. Please read it carefully.

Project overview:

·        Scope: Review images and select the demographics of the person in the image (Age, Gender and Skin Tone)

·        Project End Date: 10th of May 2024.

·        Process: After submitting the annotated images, a reviewer from SPO will assess it to make sure that the annotation aligns with the project guidelines. If needed, the reviewer will request modifications from you.

·        Annotation Tool: SPO Platform tool "SPO", please signup using this link http://sp.startpayonline.com/spo-associate-partner-apply

Next steps:

1. Review the project guidelines carefully. This should take 5 minutes.
2. Once you completed step 1, please take this quiz and if you passed you will get assigned to the project.

Payment:

The rate is $1.5 per hour to $10.00 per hour. 

The rate is ⟨₹⟩80 per hour to ⟨₹⟩ 800.00 per hour. 

You are required to do a minimum of 20 hours per week, once your tasks have been approved by SPO Quality team, you will receive payment by end of the project through AirTM.

एनोटेटर कार्य विवरण:

बी। दिशानिर्देशों को देखने के बाद आपको साइन अप करने और प्रोजेक्ट तक आवश्यक पहुंच प्राप्त करने के लिए स्सेटार्ट पे एक आमंत्रण ईमेल भेजा जाएगा ।  

सी। आपको तब तक प्रवेश के बारे में चिंता करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है जब तक आप दिशानिर्देशों का पालन नहीं कर लेते और प्रश्नोत्तरी उत्तीर्ण नहीं कर लेते।

इन दिशानिर्देशों को पूरा पढ़ने के लिए आपको और निचे की और जाना होगा जब तक लास्ट पेज दिखाई देने ना लगे ?

2. आपको SPO पर एक कार्य प्रदान किया जाएगा, प्रत्येक कार्य में महत्वपूर्ण रूप से एक व्यक्ति की छवियां शामिल होंगी  ।

Demographics Guidelines:

As explained in the previous page, you will be provided with a pool of tasks, each task will include a unique set of images to people or participants.

Each task will include a set of images that mostly refer to One person. (Note that some images could involve other people, and could be blurry or with low resolution)

We will select the picture that has the best quality and accordingly we start do our demographics annotation.

The below is a representation of the how we view the task on SPO.

Examples:

Demographics Annotation:

You will be assigned to a specific task while you work on the project.

In each task you will review a number of pictures for the same person.

Select the picture that has the best quality,

Label the demographics for the person in the image:

Gender: Male - Female

Age: Teen - Adult - Senior

Skin Tone: Selecting skin color out of 10 provided options.

Draw an annotation box on a visible part of the skin (Face or arm or shoulder) to reflect the color skin tone you have selected.

Need to be mindful while we completed the annotation for each task.

Please review the task before you click on Submit.

1. Selecting the best quality image:

• We chose the image that has the best quality and represents the person's features that we can use to decide their demographics.

2. Selecting the gender:

Chose the correct Gender for the person in the image, in the below image's correct selection is Male.

3. Selecting the age:

The selection will be between Three age groups.

Teen: Less than 19 years old

Adult: Age group between 20 and 55 years old.

Senior: People with age of 55+.

In the below, it is a Teen. (A boy eating lunch at school)

4. Selecting the skin tone:

Given 10 colors to match the person's skin tone, please chose the color that closely match the person's color tone.

5. Draw an annotation box:

Once you select the color tone; an option will be available to click on the color box (Below draw a box Text)

Created a box to cover a part of the person's body that clearly reflects the skin tone, such as face or the arms or shoulders. etc. (Only One annotation box is required)

6. Task submission:

Submit the task once you are done with your annotation.

Please note that you might encounter images that have very low pixels, very low resolution or blurry, in which we can't identify the person's features and can't verify their skin tone. in such a case we will Skip the task.

Useful Tips:

For challenging images that could be confusing as in the below example where the person only appears from the back and we can't accurately verify his age, use your best judgment for the selection.

Please note in such example the selection could be a bit subjective as the person's age group can be either a Teen (18-19 Years old) or an Adult (20-23), so in such case both selections are correct.
