→ Park the task
- Workers are required to park the question as soon as it appears in their workbench, before starting to transcribe. You can only park 1 task

- The new Parking functionality allows workers to stop and resume work on a given question at their convenience. While the question is parked, it will not be assigned to another worker.

- The deadline for a parked task to be completed is ONLY 3 DAYS. Afterwards we will unassign them from the transcriber’s account.

2. Getting Started: Put into Action What You’ve Learned

Worker Task Assignation (WTA) Live System: You will be constantly using the “WTA” sheet as it will be highly useful to see your quality reports, task progress, to track down the payments as well as to read your feedback notes.

It is highly significant for you to read all the info in the “Orientation” tab within the WTA, where it is your responsibility to follow the updates! It has super-useful information on how to use the WTA effectively, how to avoid most common mistakes and some really cool tips.

3. Quality Measures

• Skip or Submit
  If you are to "submit" or "skip" any task for review without completing it (no matter by mistake or not), your account will be suspended for an uncertain period of time. If you do this twice, your contract will be immediately and permanently terminated. These tasks naturally will not be compensated.

Allowed to skip tasks

Below is a list of Valid reasons that you must skip the audio that may be available:

No Audio: The audio doesn't load.

No Sound: The waveform indicates there is audio but I can't hear anything.

Other Locale: All of the speech is in a different language.

Silent Audio: The entire utterance is silent.

Noisy Audio: The entire utterance is too noisy.

Other: Extreme profanity, Extreme sexual content or Extreme religious hatred

- Please note that skipped tasks are not paid for

• Quality Rate
  - We have a system called “Quality Rate”. Based on the quality level of your tasks, you will have an average quality score as well.
  - If your score after the batch is over is less than 2.5, you will be removed from the team
  - Check the quality rate criteria from the RAW Data tab in the WTA sheet
  
  
• Rejected tasks criteria
  - Our reviewers may reject some tasks if they have fatal errors and completely do not follow the guidelines
  - Here is the criteria for the Rejected tasks List
  - If you get 2 rejected tasks for the same reason, the PM will remove the member from the team
  - Please note that rejected tasks are not paid for
  
  
• 20+ Speakers task
  All Loft transcription tasks should have a maximum of 20 speakers, Once a 21st speaker is introduced, please do not transcribe their speech and stop working on the task then, and write in a comment next to the task the time where you stopped transcribing.

We have received clear instructions from the client on two very specific points regarding how to use parking and pinning features on Loft 2.0 platform.

1 .Going forward, you are highly encouraged to use ONLY the PARKING feature to hold a task, not the Pinning one until any further announcement.

2. If any of your resources is using more than one Google Chrome tab to transcribe, please give them specific instructions NOT to do that. The audio files should be transcribed using only one Google Chrome tab open.

The reasoning behind this is that using the tool in this way leads to a ton of different possible errors with regards to questions being over-replicated, over-assigned, and inappropriately duplicated, which has other downstream impacts (specifically on reporting).

3. गुणवत्ता उपाय
छोड़ें या सबमिट करें
यदि आप किसी कार्य को समीक्षा के लिए "सबमिट" या "छोड़" देते हैं, तो उसे पूरा किए बिना (चाहे गलती से हो या नहीं), आपका खाता अनिश्चित अवधि के लिए निलंबित कर दिया जाएगा। यदि आप ऐसा दो बार करते हैं, तो आपका अनुबंध तुरंत और स्थायी रूप से समाप्त हो जाएगा। इन कार्यों के लिए स्वाभाविक रूप से मुआवज़ा नहीं दिया जाएगा।
कार्यों को छोड़ने की अनुमति
नीचे वैध कारणों की एक सूची दी गई है, जिसके लिए आपको उपलब्ध ऑडियो को छोड़ना होगा:

20+ स्पीकर कार्य

Criteria for task rejection on Loft 2.0

If any of these types of mistakes occurred with the number of times referred next to it, then the task is considered a rejected task and will not be paid for

Skipping a task that should not be skipped

PII not marked - 10 times in one task

30-second rule not followed for the entire task

0.5 Rule not followed for the entire task

No annotations at all for the entire task.

Missing speaker turns - Speech not transcribed
More than 10 seconds of missing speech

Pre-filled speaker turns not corrected
Pre filled speaker turns are around 1 minute long. If more than one pre filled speaker turn is not adequately corrected, it’s grounds for rejection.

Missing speaker labels
All of the speech transcribed under one speaker label with more speakers clearly heard.
